I was accedently reading a comment of yours on another blog….that you got married in Piemonte (Italy). I was just wondering where exactly….as I live in Piemonte…
In my blog (dutchgoesitalian) you’ll find a lot of places in Piemonte…maybe you’ve been there too… 🙂
Greetings, Letizia
Ahhh maybe you know my friend Luca Roagna? I would love to your read blog.. i will send you a message and we can talk more. We got married in a villa, had our rehearsal dinner at hmm, i can’t remember now but, the day after we had pizza at Perbacco and I loved Gemma and so many places.
My daughter and I will be in DUMBO next week M-F… Got any suggestions for good eats? Our trip is un-planned and completely aimed at gaining some NY food stories for our blog. We’re in the city a lot – but rarely do mother and daughter get to go alone. Let me know if you have any good eats suggestions!
I sure will. I will email you some helpful suggestions. A walk across the Brooklyn Bridge is certainly something you should do. If you walk across the Manhattan Bridge, which is perhaps .25 mile away from the Brooklyn Bridge, you can go to one of my favorite Chinese Places for some excellent soft shell crabs. Look at this post. https://brooklynbite.wordpress.com/2012/03/20/what-a-beautiful-day-to-eat-at-great-ny-noodletown/
Thanks for the ‘like’ – and so quick off the mark! No idea how you found me so quickly, but thank you. Looking forward to reading more of your blog, love the ’25 Burgers’ place – can’t believe how wonderfully ‘American’ it looks – and have had some experience juicing myself, so looking forward to hear how that progresses too.
How exciting. Yeh, i have a lot of tips for you. If you have time and want to check out an underground supper club, come check out http://www.nybiteclub.com.
But, if you email me a list of types of restaurants, i can give you my input. Or just little things like, getting around on the subway. Google or hopstop.com are good for navigation.
Daniel, nice wordpress blog. I found you from your “like” on our page (thanks). If we ever come to NYC, we’ll know to stop & see you for some good eats.
WP hint: if you want to change the tag “Just another wordpress site” to something more personal and relevant to your blog, like “eat great in Brooklyn” or “Daniel is awesome,” go into your dashboard, click Settings > General, and under Site Title, you will see a box for Tagline. Changing your tagline also helps search engines find you, so think of words that people would use when searching for a site like yours.
Have a good one!

Thanks for the advise. I am terrible at this and slowly learning. The technology is really what has kept me from starting a blog for all these years!
All the best,
